The Rockwall County Sheriff’s Posse is a dedicated group of volunteer citizens working closely with the Sheriff’s Office to assist in various community services. Our members are an all-volunteer mounted patrol unit that supports law enforcement, ensures community safety, and represents Rockwall County in public events such as parades and the annual Rockwall Roundup.

The Rockwall County Sheriff’s Posse was featured in the March/April 2025 issue of Sheriff & Deputy magazine, highlighting their active role in community engagement and public safety initiatives. The magazine feature also showcased the Posse’s participation in the 2025 Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo All-Western Parade, one of the most challenging yet enjoyable events they partake in annually.
We are always looking for dedicated individuals with a passion for community service.
We award scholarships to students who have participated in 4-H, FFA, or other agricultural-related programs.
